POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference announced its All-Conference teams on Thursday, and six Pearl River softball standouts earned a selection.
"I'm so proud of our six players who received an All-MACCC award. What an honor," head coach Christie Meeks said. "I could not be more proud of these players for their consistency, heart and drive."
Natalee Eaves (Louisville; Choctaw Central) and Kai Goodman (New Orleans, La.; John Curtis) were named First Team. Ana-Grace Garcia (Baton Rouge, La.; St. Joseph's) and Caroline Lindsey (Gulfport) took home Second Team honors. Maeli Ben (Conehatta; Newton County) and Peyton Hoffmayer (Ocean Springs) earned a place on the Honorable Mention team.
FIRST TEAM
Eaves had the second-highest batting average on the team at .394. She saw time in center field and at shortstop and made a difference either way. She tallied 12 doubles, five triples and three homers, driving in 39 runs. She ended the year with 30 stolen bases.
Goodman was electric from start to finish for PRCC at the top of the order. The Nicholls State transfer hit .401, which ranked first on the team. She also swiped a single-season PRCC record 51 bases. She added in 21 walks, eight doubles, two triples and two homers. The Louisiana native also tacked on 23 RBIs.
"Kai and Nat were two extremely tough outs for us this year, and their fight to win is unmatched. Natalee is a competitor. She is driven and refuses to lose. Anywhere we put her, she finds a way to help her team," Meeks said. "Kai could swing with power and was a true triple threat at the plate. She had the most speed in the league."
SECOND TEAM
Garcia was PRCC's ace from start to finish in 2025. She held a 2.85 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP in her freshman season. The right-hander struck out an incredible 173 batters, which ranked second in the MACCC. She ended the year with a 16-5 record and 18 complete games.
Lindsey was named PRCC's team captain to begin the year and ran with it. She hit .296 on the year, leading PRCC in doubles (13), homers (12) and RBIs (45). She added 14 walks and eight stolen bases.
"Ana-Grace was solid in the circle for us. She continued to get better as the year went on. Her change-up just kept people off guard all year," Meeks said. "Caroline is such a clutch player. She was our captain for a reason and played with every ounce of her ability every single day."
HONORABLE MENTION
Ben had a freshman season to remember, holding a .331 batting average at season's end, good enough for third on the team. The first baseman hit six doubles, four homers and drove in 20 runs on the year. She drew 17 walks on the year.
Hoffmayer had an incredible sophomore season, wrapping up the year with a .308 batting average, .345 on-base percentage and .615 slugging percentage. The slugger belted 11 homers, five doubles and one triple, driving in 33 runs along the way.
"Peyton had some great timely hits and helped us turn the line up over being a powerful, tough out," Meeks said. "Maeli was one of our most consistent hitters this year. She had so many hard, line shots and did a great job being tough at the plate."
