Pearl River women's golf continues fall season at Snead State Invitational

UNION GROVE, Ala. — Pearl River women's golf team wrapped up competition at the Snead State invitational on Tuesday, finishing 16th overall shooting 299-over as a team. 

Berklie Dunn (Mobile, Ala.; Faith Academy) led the way for PRCC, shooting 56-over par to place 65th overall. Abigail Futch (Gulfport; St. Patrick) followed close behind, carding a 71-over score to finish 75th.

Maya Morelos (Grambling, La.; Ruston) posted a 74-over performance, earning a 77th-place finish for the Wildcats.

Rounding out the Pearl River lineup were Abi Beth Ford (Purvis) and Savannah Madigan (Long Beach). Ford finished 80th after shooting 99-over par, while Madigan placed 82nd with a 113-over total. 

The tournament marked a valuable learning experience for the young PRCC squad as they continue to build momentum this fall season.

NEXT UP 

The Wildcats will return to action Oct. 27-28 when they travel to Jasper, Alabama, to compete in the Jefferson State Invitational at Musgrove Country Club.
