Pearl River women's golf opens the 2025-26 season

OXFORD, Ala. — The Pearl River women's golf team got its season underway at the South District Preview at Cider Ridge Golf Club, finishing in 10th place. The Wildcats shot 266-over as a team.

Berklie Dunn (Mobile, Ala.; Faith Academy) led Pearl River's efforts with a two-round score of 50-over, earning 40th place. Maya Morelos (Grambling, La.; Ruston) was PRCC's next-best finisher, sitting in 47th place. She shot 56-over across teh two rounds.

Abby Futch (Gulfport; St. Patrick) took 52nd place with a score of 36-over in round one and 35-over in round two. 

Abi Beth Ford (Purvis) earned a 57th-place finish with a score of 92-over and Savannah Madigan (Long Beach) was 58th with a score of 94-over.

The Wildcats head to the Snead State Invitational Oct. 13-14 at Cherokee Ridge Golf Course in Union Grove, Ala.
