Pearl River head women's basketball coach Shanae Govan-Williams has added the perfect fit in Tyler Bogan to round out her coaching staff for the 2025-2026 season. 

"I believe Tyler was the perfect candidate for this position because of his experience being around one of the most successful women's basketball programs in Mississippi (Ole Miss)," Govan-Williams said. "His experience coaching AAU in North Mississippi will help us with recruiting also. He was the perfect fit to finalize our coaching staff."

Bogan was a volunteer assistant coach at Northwest Mississippi Community College for the 2024-2025 season. Before his time at Northwest, he was the head coach for the SSB AAU 17U boys team from 2022 to 2024. 

Bogan also served as a manager for the University of Mississippi's women's basketball team from 2022 to 2024 and the NWCC's women's basketball team from 2020 to 2022. 

"I'm thankful for Coach Williams and the Wildcat family for giving me the opportunity to thrive with this wonderful program," Bogan said. "I'm very excited. Roll River Roll!"

EDUCATION
Bogan earned a Bachelor's in Sports Recreation Administration from the University of Mississippi in 2025. In addition to serving as a manager for the women's basketball team at Ole Miss, he was also a MOST mentor. Bogan served on the board of Ole Miss' Men of Excellence and was active in the Ole Miss chapter of the NAACP.

Bogan earned an Associate of Arts from NWCC in 2022 and graduated from Okolona High School in 2020.
