POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Pearl River men's soccer standout Emil Corfitzen (Copenhagen, Denmark) has been named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Offensive Player of the Week after helping lead the Wildcats to 1-0 week.

Corfitzen lit up the scoreboard against No. 11 Hinds, netting four goals on just five shots and adding an assist to cap off a spectacular night. The sophomore forward was unstoppable and key force in the team's victory.  

On the year, Corfitzen has tallied 13 goals and five assists, contributing directly to 18 of the team's goals. He also leads the team with four game-winning goals, further cementing his role as a crucial playmaker.
