POPLARVILLE, Miss. — No. 2 Pearl River baseball's Camden Clark (Laurel; West Jones) was dominant from start to finish in his lone start of the week, and the right-handed pitcher has been named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference's Pitcher of the Week.
Clark took the mound against Copiah-Lincoln and shut the Wolves down throughout his six innings of work. The freshman struck out 10 of the 20 Wolves he faced, allowing just two hits. Clark didn't walk any CLCC batters.
On the season, Clark has made six appearances, throwing 18 2/3 innings. He has an ERA of 3.38, a WHIP of 1.13 and 28 strikeouts against just six walks.
