Jeff Long is in his third year as Athletics Director at Pearl River Community College.
Long has been at PRCC for a total of eight years heading into the 2019-2020 school year. He joined PRCC in 2008 as an assistant baseball coach and in '14 moved to an administrative role and became the Director of Student Life.
Before joining PRCC, Long coached at Pascagoula High School as an assistant for one year.
Long was also a coach at William Carey University for three seasons, one as a graduate assistant and two as a full-time assistant.
Long played four years of baseball at William Carey playing under coach Bobby Halford.
He recived a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in English.
Long grew up in Hurley, Mississippi, and graduated from East Central High School.
Long and his wife, Whitney, have two children, Addison and Logan.
