Join us on July 25, 2025, as we celebrate the "Best of the Best" during the PRCC Athletics Hall of Fame and Golf Tournament, sponsored by Keith's Superstores, held at the Hollywood Casino in Bay St. Louis!
The Hall of Fame event will begin with a social at 6:30 p.m., followed by the induction banquet and ceremony at 7 p.m.
BANQUET INFORMATION
Pearl River Community College will recognize the "Best of the Best" when it celebrates the 2025 induction class during the Athletics Hall of Fame banquet on July 25. The banquet is sponsored by Keith's Superstores and will be held at the Hollywood Casino & Resort in Bay St. Louis.
The 2025 induction class is comprised of:
- football and men's basketball's Larry Brackins
- football's Steve Moody
- women's basketball's Polly Kirkland and
- men's soccer's Stephen Kulikowski
The Spirit of a Wildcat recipient is Eric "Poncho" James.
Additionally, PRCC will recognize the 2004 National Champion football team, the 1994-95 Region 23 women's basketball team and the 1994-95 Region 23 men's golf team.
Banquet tickets are $100.
GOLF TOURNAMENT
In addition to the banquet, PRCC will hold its annual four-person scramble golf tournament at the Bridges Golf Club. To meet overwhelming demand, Pearl River is adding a second golf flight this year. The first flight will begin at 8 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m.
Golf teams are $600. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available.
DUCK DERBY
The PRCC Alumni Office will once again host the annual Duck Derby following the Hall of Fame Ceremony.
How does the Duck Derby work?
- Purchase a single Rubber Duck, a Quack Pack or a Flock from the Foundation. The Foundation Office will number each Rubber Duck to know who owns that Duck.
- The Rubber Duck race will take place at the Hollywood Casino on July 25th, following the PRCC Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony.
- The first Duck that floats through the lazy river and crosses the finish line first is the "Lucky Duck," and the owner of that Duck WINS!
- Funds from the event will benefit the Foundation for scholarships, events and projects.
- Participants DO NOT have to be present to win.
