Pearl River’s Isaih Moore and Mychala Linzy named Forrest Health Wildcats of the Week

POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Women's basketball's Mychala "Pooh" Linzy (Clinton) and men's basketball's Isaih Moore (Columbia, S.C.; Sumter) have been named the Forrest Health Wildcats of the Week, Pearl River announced Monday. 

This is the first time either have won the award for this athletic year.

Through two games Linzy has helped lead the Wildcats to a 1-1 record with a win against Delgado and a close loss on the road at Northwest. 

Linzy is averaging 12.5 points per game while also averaging two rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. 

Her season-high came last Thursday night when she led the Wildcats in points with 19. 

Isaih Moore

Moore, a St. John's commit, has helped the No. 11 Wildcats to a 2-0 record with wins over Delgado and William Carey's junior varsity squad. 

Moore is leading the team in scoring with 22 ppg and also had a double-double against Delgado last Monday when he scored 21 points while grabbing 15 rebounds as well.
